flights, hammam, insurance, lunch in town during the Essaouira visit, transfers from airport Marrakech/Agadir (we cover the transfer cost with a minimum group of 4 people)

Day 1 — Travel and first breath of the ocean

You land in Agadir/Marrakech or Essaouira. The drive to our base takes about 3 hours (from Essaouira – 30 minutes) — your driver will be waiting at the airport. Along the way, you pass Berber villages and dry open land. The road is winding (from Agadir), so if you get motion sickness, it’s worth bringing something for it.

Our house sits a bit outside, about 15 minutes from the beach. From the terrace, you can watch the sunset.

We keep the first day flexible. If you arrive early, we’ll walk to the stable. If you still have energy, we can ride out for sunset.

If you arrive late — dinner, a short chat, and rest.

Day 2 — First ride, horses and the beach

After breakfast, we head to the stable. A short off-road drive — about 7 minutes.

We match you with your horse and head out.

The route takes you through tamarisk forest, Berber tracks, and argan hills. The pace is steady — mostly walk, some trot, and a few good gallops.

Lunch under an argan tree. Time to slow down and take in the space.

The day ends with a gallop along the beach, waves close to the hooves.

Day 3 — Beach, water, and sunset

We ride mostly along the coast, heading south towards the Sidi M’Bark waterfalls.

This is where fresh water meets the Atlantic — small cascades and natural pools. In winter, they fill with water. Closer to summer, they dry out, leaving sand, rock, and traces of old streams.

You can often spot turtles in the pools. If it’s windy, we’ll have lunch in a cave. After that, there’s time for a swim in the ocean.

Another day of long beach gallops.

In the evening, back to the house — pool, wine, dinner.

Day 4 — Cliffs, dunes, and caves

We head north, exploring a different side of the coast.

Cap Sim — cliffs, open views, rock shaped by wind and waves. More height, steeper sections, and long stretches to gallop.

Dunes, sand, and some of the best views of the whole ride.

Lunch by the ocean — out in the open or in a cave.

Afternoon and evening by the pool.

Day 5 — Hills and Berber villages

Last full day on horseback.

We ride through Berber villages, argan trees, and rolling hills, making our way back to the Atlantic.

Final gallops. Lunch with a view of the ocean.

Day 6 — Swimming with the horses

We ride bareback from the stable to the beach.

If the waves are strong, it makes for great photos — but you’ll need to stay balanced.

Some horses are more confident than others, so we go in gradually and let them choose. If the ocean is calm, you might even swim with them.

Photos, riding without bridles, bareback gallops.

A lot of movement. A lot of laughter.

Lunch back at the house.

In the afternoon — either a sunset ride or a visit to the hammam.

Day 7 — Essaouira

We head to Essaouira — an old 18th-century port town.

We visit the port, where fresh fish and seafood are sold straight from the boats. You’ll see sharks, tuna, lobsters, squid, shrimps. There are good options for vegetarians too.

We walk along the old walls, with waves breaking below.

Lunch at the fish market — you choose, it’s cooked on the spot.

Then time in the medina — small streets, colours, crafts.

Back home for dinner.
(There are good options for vegetarians too.)

Day 8 — Last sunrise and return

If there’s time, we can stop at a local hammam.

If not, after breakfast we head straight to the airport.

You leave with the sound of the ocean and the rhythm of hooves still in your head.
